So here we are, back where we started. Rumours. The first album the ATL Collective ever presented. Fitting on the eve of Thanksgiving in this year of years, that we return to this classic as a way to look back and forward and try to remember what we value and what we love. Released in 1977, Rumours is the eleventh album by Fleetwood Mac. It won album of the year in 1978 and is one of the best-selling albums of all time. StevieNicks has explained that the band made their best music when they were at their worst.The recording in Saul Salito’s Record Plant often happened after hours of late night partying, and the relationships between McVie, Buckingham, and Nicks had reached anear breaking point. The music transcends. There are a power and an urgency in these songs. The harmonies and the performances contain multitudes. It’s what they needed. It’s what we need now.
